Governor issues statement on retirement of longtime Sen. Nancy Rodriguez

SANTA FE – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham released the following statement Thursday on the retirement of Sen. Nancy Rodriguez after nearly 30 years in the Legislature:

“Sen. Rodriguez’s long and productive tenure in the New Mexico Legislature is a shining example of public service. Her work across nearly three decades, especially on the issue of affordable housing, made our state a better place to live, work and raise a family. I thank Sen. Rodriguez for her service to New Mexico and I wish her well.”
